T is for Tickets!

Over on the Alteredbooklover blog, Elizabeth does a weekly link-up called T is for Tuesday.  It involves “drink” posts of any kind–drawn, painted, photographed, tagged, etc.  Today I got some tickets for me and my husband and our oldest grandson to attend the semi-final, Division AAAAA high school football playoff game in my local town.

It is going to be quite the event on Friday night.  Whoever wins will go to the Georgia Dome in Atlanta for the championship game.  The school hasn’t had a winning team record this good since before the time my husband was in school there 51 years ago!  I had to get the tickets today as they will likely be sold out before game and unavailable at the gate.

I took the photo at one of my favorite pizza places in town.  It tasted even better being on vacation and in no rush to finish and “get back to work.”  I’ve done a lot of cyber shopping the last two days.  And, yes, I got lots of arty goodies for myself as well while I was at it!  LOL  Toys and electronics are not the only things that go on sale on Cyber Monday.  🙂  I’ve got lots of stencils coming courtesy of StencilGirl–with the Seth Apter ones being the ones I’m most excited about.  I bought several of his unmounted stamps while in NY this past August and I’ve been waiting on this sale to get the rest of his stencils that I don’t already have that coordinate with that set.

I have some errands to run tomorrow plus a Michael’s 50% off coupon to use–my favorite time to buy Golden products at Michaels….plus I bought one of my younger nieces a Washi tape activity book so I will probably pick up some tape rolls if I can find some on sale to go with the ones that already come with the book.  She is getting some fun arty stuff for Christmas this year.  She’s really my only arty relative on my gift list so I always have fun shopping for her every year.

Don’t forget.  There are less than 23 days now to finish your Christmas gift list.  🙂

  1. Wow, that pizza looks good, even though I am a vegetarian.

It’s great that you got tickets, and I’ll cross my fingers that your Division 5A team wins.

I was lucky a few weeks ago and got Golden Fluid Acrylics at 50% off, It is almost unheard of here, so I scooped them up. I hope you get what you need.

Thanks for sharing your drink and pizza, as well as your tickets with us for T this Tuesday. I’m sure you will love those new stencils.

  2. The photo doesn’t show on my computer but it’s great to read your post! Great to hear about folk getting bargains – Golden products are quite expensive in the UK and we never get 50% off anything!!! Belated Happy T Day! Chrisx

    • I’m sorry you can’t see my picture, Chris! 🙁 It was a mostly eaten half of a piece of pepperoni and banana pepper pizza, some tickets for the upcoming game tomorrow and a cup of water with some lemon slices and a straw! LOL I did go get my 50% off container of Golden Gesso and of course an additional assortment of items that I certainly didn’t need at Michael’s that were also on sale for 50% off. 🙂 or 🙁 ….depending on how you view the whole shopping paradigm….
