Paint Party FridayI’m back on a portrait track again.  I signed up with Mindy Lacefield for her the 24 Faces Project on-line class.  I’m very excited.  She has such a simplistic way of doing her little girl faces–who can resist?  I also signed up for a refresher of sorts, the Refined and Unrefined Face on-line class.  This is supposed to be my refined face but I think it is a little bit of both.  The background I chose was a “wipe off” background for something I had sprayed with a water-soluble ink and used the gessoed pages to deposit the left-over/unused ink upon.  The middle of her face kind of shows the impact of this more than the rest but I love her anyway.  The big, mauvish blob was just begging to be made into a portrait so I obliged.  A new friend!

Poor little waif!  LOL
