I have been wanting to try adding some raised texture to my journal pages.  Over on Donna Downey’s Inspiration Wednesday posts, she is “always” adding some type of raised texture with gel medium or modeling paste, etc., and then highlighting it with some Raw Umber glaze to make the texture patterns pop.  Today is the day I post my efforts:

This spread was created in my smaller but still too-large-to-be-scanned-across-two-pages Canson Mixed Media journal so I photographed it rather than trying to do a combined page scan.  I used several stencils that I purchased from StencilGirl (Seth Apter–Past Present Future, Numbers, Unfinished; Rae Missigman–Pointing It Out; Carolyn Dube–Wall of Words).  I have a little space on the right side to add some personal journaling or an image or two if I want.  I still want the “UNFINISHED” word on the left side to stand out more but, like the title says, this is what is in My Journal Monday…  🙂
