I have spent a lot of time away from home during the last 3 months.  Today it was beautiful outside and I needed to venture out and do a little bonding with all the natural elements surrounding our house.  I love to go out and walk underneath the towering trees that line both sides of our drive way.  Ancient live oaks and southern pines make up the majority of our wooded areas along with many magnolia and palmetto palm trees.  It all shields us from the road traffic of our neighbor hood and provides us quite a bit of visual privacy from that road as well.

Today I became so enamored with all of the wonderful works of God in my yard that I had to come back and take some photos.  I usually notice the grander large picture of it all and don’t always see the little things so quickly.  Today it was different.  And much in the same vein as Ms. Valerie-Jael includes regularly in her blog posts on Bastelmania, I am going to share a few of those moments with you as well.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I did just taking them all in.  (Oh, and in case you didn’t know, my other interest of passion is photography.)  Have a great weekend!
