Another week of the new year has passed and it is again time for My Journal Monday. I actually got to do a little art this weekend. I was influenced by the Week 2 prompt for Journal52 and also one of the lessons offered during Week 2 of Life Book 2016. I will be adding journaling and maybe some more collage to record the things I’m saying yes to and the things I’m saying no to this year. It is kind of fun putting such strong colors and opinions on the pages. Here is what I have accomplished thus far and am sharing this morning for My journal Monday:
Again, this is in my larger Strathmore so I photographed it rather than trying to do a combined page scan. I am also posting this on:

Yes–I have about 10 ideas of how I want to do this and I can’t seem to settle on one–isn’t that terrible?! 🙂
Looking good, Jill! :-)))
Thanks, Jill! <3
Love this bold entry. xox
Thank you, Corrine. It is indeed very bold! A bit different that most of my posts. I like feeling a little more bold in my art this year. 🙂
Lovely, thanks for joining us at Moo Mania and More, Hugs, Valerie
Thanks, Valerie! It’s good to be here again! 🙂
Love that very modern image–so Nikon! Nice to meet you–I found you through PPF. I am new to the blog world and am happy to find art friends. See you around the neighborhood! Dea xo
Awesome, Dea! I am also fairly new to the blogosphere–just really getting serious and making commitments to keep one and to try to grow some visitors mid last year. I live in an art wasteland so I LOVE meeting new art friend on the net. So glad you stopped by. PPF is a GREAT place to find other arty people and I have found it to be a very encouraging community as well. See you around! 🙂
I just love everything about your pages. Love the blending!
You’re so sweet, Suz! It was a BIG play page–lots of finger, lots of gesso and lots of Payne’s Gray heavy body. I had a blast! 😉
