I signed up for a local art journaling class that I discovered by accident while visiting a local pottery painting shop for a birthday party. I thought it would be nice to get to know some of the other local artists that take part in one of my favorite activities so I decided to take the class. I leaned a lot about myself and a few new art tricks as well. This is one of the journal pages that I created while taking Mandy Thompson‘s journaling class at Color Me Happy.
The dog in this photo is Frodo, my Australian Cattle Dog. He is one hot mess! And I love him dearly. He always looks like he is up to something. He just has “that sort of face” that makes him look like he is always smiling and interested in your every move. I have another ACD, Sasha, that I’m sure will turn up in a post here sometime, too. They are a couple of my very favorite photo subjects. 🙂
Lovely page!
Thanks! 🙂
It’s fine how you did your second look post, but we normally explain it’s a second look and refer to it in some way. However, this is your first time sharing your second look, so I am just thrilled that you joined us. I certainly don’t want to discourage you from joining in again next month.
Nietzsche had a lot to say about many things, didn’t he? This was a quote I remember, so it was fun reading it again. His philosophy lessons were quite impressive. I think my favorite by him was “Without music, life would be a mistake.” But of course, the abyss quote is quite appropriate, too.
I love your handwriting, and your dog may be a hot mess, but he’s still a real cutie. Thanks for sharing this second look with us on the 2nd.
Thanks, Elizabeth! I was very excited and in my haste I think I overlooked a couple of “small” details! LOL I’ll get it right next month–and maybe I’ll even get a link for 2nd on the 2nd on my side bar. It may become somewhat of a challenge in the future as I don’t have that many older posts but maybe I can dig through some older art that has never been posted and use it–of THAT I have plenty! Thank you for the kind words and yes, Frodo is a real cutie. Have a GREAT weekend!
great you shared it again, as i have missed the first posting. wonderful page!
Thanks, Johanna! And thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. 🙂
