I’m still working on getting the blog where it needs to be. It feels like it will never be done…sigh… I am going to try to do another edition of My Journal Monday anyway. Today I am going to try adding an InLinkz post-linking tool. Hopefully it will be an easier tool and more of you will want to participate with linking your work.
I am participating this week in the April Swap on JenniBellie’s Studio site. April’s swap involved creating and swapping “journal spots” that could be used by the recipient in their journals or any where else they think they might want to memorialize a note or a thought.
I have been wanting to use my Gelli Plate for quite a while and I thought this might be a good time to do that. Here are some of my papers that I created using my 8″x10″ plate:
I am also going to use some note paper from notepads that I picked up at Michael’s in the $1 bin (well, when it was a dollar–I guess it is now $1.50 since the end of last year?) and also some colored cardstock and some old book pages that are both plain and Gelli printed.
What are you creating today that you would like to share with My Journal Monday readers? Just link your specific URL for your post below (not just your general URL address) and thanks for stopping by!
Nice paper collection. The Gelli Plate is so addicting. Might be time to drag mine out again. xox
Thank you, Corrine! I had a lot of fun with these. I need to do some different colors tonight so they don’t all look like they came from the same pallet and change out my stencils to something a little different. Will start cutting and pasting and doodling tonight to and see if I can’t get these little things out the door tomorrow! 🙂
