Well, I had wanted to do something more than just working on my planner backgrounds this past weekend but that is not how it turned out.  I don’t know if it is just the weather but I have been totally exhausted for about the last week to week and a half.  Going back to work didn’t make it any better, I’m sure, and some added special church activities seemed to just sap out a little more energy when completed.  All said, I’ve been too tired to have very much creative energy–to the point that the hubby and I just watched movies all Sunday evening on the couch.  There was an awesome Takenfest on FX and we enjoyed every minute of it.

But enough about my personal problems…LOL!  I did manage to force out a few more background pages for my planner that didn’t turn out too badly despite my foggy state.  I needed to take a break from them anyway as I don’t want them all looking too much alike.  Here are the ones I completed this past weekend:

I used one of my new StencilGirl stencils on the last one.  It is an awesome stencil that has endless potential.  It is called Inside Out and was designed by Seth Apter for StencilGirlProducts.com.  I would even go so far as to say that the options and combinations presented by this little 6″ stencil are nearly infinite.  I added a some sparkle with glitter glue I had on hand and a couple of heart stickers and it was pretty much done.

Now, if I could only get my schedule more under control so I would have more time to play in my art studio!  🙂  Perhaps I should try USING my planner, yes?
